Mentality.

   Hello! Today I am going to write about something that people always overlook. Why? Because as human always take things for granted. We never be grateful of what we have instead we even complaining about it without making a small effort towards it. I would not be surprise if there are people who do not agree with my statement because for me, we are never going to realize about an issue until we experience and feel our self. Believe me or not? We never there are electricity until we feel the shock or see the reading scales on an ammeter. We never believe there are winds until it cool down our sweat that struggles to maintain our body temperature. See? So now I am going to tell you about human behavior that I observed as long as 18 years I lived.

    I was registered under Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) scholars on May 2016 under the program of MARA American Degree Program and I have been in KKTM Lenggong for 8 months but that is not what I am going to focus here. So, first of all, there are huge differences between the mentality of a genius and a normal person but, before you rebuts about what I am going to say, I just want to state that this is just my observation and I am not making proud of myself right here. As I studied in Mrsm Serting previously, the environment was different. In my class, if a teacher was asking for a volunteer in a particular activity, there were not going to be many who wanted to show up. But it is different in here, everybody were racing to volunteer on a particular activity. They never show that they are ashamed of doing it because they take it as a positive outcome. It does not matter if there are persons who are laughing at you looking at your high-spirit act but you need to be confidence that the impact is going to alter your future. They never think about what people say about them. Indeed, they helped each other to strive for the future.

    Next, a genius people will always cooperate together. In Mrsm Serting, when there was leisure time for the students to spend, they never opened a book or organizing an extra class but here, it literally happened. As we approaching the final examination, some of the student had already focusing on doing revision for about 2 or 3 weeks earlier. They felt terrified about the exam because it was the game game-changer for their future. They had traveled this far and there were no turning back. Some of them even organizing an extra class among them to help the students that are weak in maths. Previously, I thought this kind of environment was only a joke and it will never happen but it turns out to be the other way around.

    I really love this kind of environment because it triggered your passion to study and secure your future. Our future is going to be much harder than the current time. Job vacancies are getting less each year and our cost of living is increasing day by day. I really hope that this kind of environment will last forever.

What I Learned From Debating

  ‘This House Would Kill Justin Bieber’. It was kind of weird when I received this motion. It was my first time participating in a debate. I never loved debate because it drove me crazy when people request for POIs and in a blink of an eye you need to figure out the answer to attack the opposition group. But I had learned a lot from this debate competition that was organised by my English lecturer, Miss Jo.

   First of all, you need to be prepared to accept the motions that are going to be offered to you. For instance, This House Would Kill Justin Bieber, This House Believes That Optimus Prime Should Rule the World and This House Believes That the Earth Is Flat. The challenges came when you need to find your solid points to defend your motion because for some of it, you could not find it on the internet plus you need matured points to stand.

    Next, you need to use all the chances that were given to you. The POIs session was really important for both of the teams to strengthen and rebut the point of the opponent. As for the opponent, seriously you need a quick brain to answer all of the POIs even though you were struggling by your own selves to stand on the other side. You need to be persuasive enough to appeal to the emotion logic of the judges and your opponent. Trust me, you judges were human too so they could possibly get influence by their personal thought.

   As a conclusion, win and loss was just another thing. The important part was you must be confident with yourself and listen to what other people wanted to say because sometimes you can twisted their point to rebut all of their argument.   

My worst essay ever!

                 HI GUYS, I PUT THIS INTRODUCTION ON CAPS LOCK SO THAT YOU CAN DISTINGUISH WITH WHAT I AM GOING TO INCLUDE NEXT IN THIS POST. I JUST WANTED TO SHARE WITH YOU GUYS MY FIRST ESSAY EVER THAT I WROTE FOR MY SCHOLARSHIP. IT FEELS FUNNY THOUGH BECAUSE WHEN I READ BACK THROUGH THE ESSAY, IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE THAT WAS NOT Y ESSAY(hahaha). THIS IS MY WORST ESSAY EVER!!!!


' For as long as I could remember, I have wanted to be a successful biologist. I have been a biology diehard fans ever since I was in primary school. In secondary school, I had struggled and put all my effort in maintaining a good as well as an excellent result in my biology subject. This could be proved when I had successfully achieved A+ in biology and pass my SPM with flying color with 5A+ and 4A’s.

 I am an over-achiever. For example, I maintained a 3.5 and above CGPA throughout secondary school since in form 1. I always brought my passion when it comes to study and academic achievement. I also had been awarded for the Principle Award for every semester. It triggered me to be an individual that had a quality in myself to achieved perfection even though there are nothing perfect in this world

Being responsible is also one of my personal quality that I could not escape. As an example, during my school time, I usually will complete all the task that have been given to me. This made me a detailed person. When I had been given a task to complete, I will search the information and look through it deeply besides it gave me a lot of knowledge.

I am also a concern-kind of people. I concern to the communities. I love to join community services to help the people. This world is not only for our self, yet there are other people that should not be let down. They should be feeling happiness as all of us felt. For example, I had joined the Ronda dan Riadah and crime awareness programs to fight and avoid crimes in our communities.

I have a leadership skill in myself to lead the people. I once lead the nasyid group and we managed to get second runner up. I also had joined the Badan Dakwah dan Rohani known as BADAR during my secondary school. I had played my rolls in maintaining the good deeds of the students in my school. I also once be the head prefect during my primary school.

I am a dedicated person. My team and I had achieved second runner up in Festival Seni Muzik Tradisional Mrsm se-Malaysia 2014 for the national level in Mrsm Kota kinabalu and 2015 in Mrsm Kuala Terengganu. I also had participated in Might minds 2015 for the district level.My team and I managed to proceed for the second level. In 2014 and 2015 I had participated for the Minggu bahasa dan Kuiz sastera and I had received award for the best player in the grouping stage.

Creative is also one of my personal qualities. I have a talent in playing musical instruments including the modern and the traditional. I am a fast learner in playing musical instrument and this proved that both side of my brain works correspondently. Playing music is also one of my strategy in managing my stress. This also showed that I know how to managed may stress.'

Pets Never Betray You.

      

         Pets are animals that we take care of and we love. Nowadays, we heard news that many pets are being harm all over the world. In my opinion, I agree that pets should be treated like family members.

         

         Pets should be treated like family members because pets also have the rights to live peacefully, to be loved, to be take care of by someone. They are also creatures of God. They are also living things and breath in the same air as humans. Nobody nor animals wanted to be treated in a bad way. Let's implied this situation on human, if someone ever get treated badly, how does they feet about it? It must be the same as animals. They can feel sad, happy and even hurt. It is a natural instinct that human and animals do not want to be hurt.so, pets deserve their own right to be treated like family members.

         

          Next, some pets even contribute to human by providing protection against danger. For example, a dog usually will protect its owner's house from thieves. As meaning to say that pets also does a good thing to human and they deserve to be treated like family members. They have given their best to serve for their owner, so why not we as a human treat them like our own family members where we feed them, loving them and take care of them.

        

          Furthermore, pets should be treated like family members because they often make us happy and we spend a lot of time with them. For example, a pet such as cat always makes us happy by showing their concern. It is believable that cat can show their concern to humans by always be with them. Pets always make us happy by accompanying us during our difficult time. we can feel the formation of bond between human and pets even though they are not talking. They also teach us the balance of ecosystem in our universe. This means that they should be treated like family members.

          

          In a nutshell, i most probably think that pets should be treated like family members.

Barack Obama is cool

         
We as a human needs a leader to lead our way to the scintillating and brighter future. Leader can be defining as someone who lead a group of people or community to the right and successful way. There are many world leaders that had contributed to the world and their own generation for something good and historical. In my opinion, the world leader that i think that is very important is the president of the United States, Barack Obama. There are few reasons that made him an important leader of the world.

         First of all, Barack Obama is the first black-skin president of the United States. This seems like it is an unimportant thing on the first thought. Nevertheless, if we look deeply, the effect of Barack being the first black-skin president of United States had brought a serious change of perspective to the world. Back to the past, people always discriminated the black-skin people and often look down to them yet when Barack Obama had been the president, the perspective of the world had changed. Many people had corrected the way they looking to the black-skin people. This is the reason why Barrack Obama is important to the world.

         Moreover, Barack Obama had done a lot of charity in helping the people that are in need. He had done such a good thing by helping them to make a better place to live. Other than that, Barack Obama had also give opportunities to all young scientists to present their project regarding science projects at the White House. This proven that Barack Obama is very caring to the children by giving them opportunities to show their talent. Barack Obama had helped many children in the world to improve their live qualities. This is also a reason that make Barack Obama an important leader because he had lead the community to the brighter future.

          Next, Barack Obama had made important contributions to the United Word Organization. He had helped other country that are in need. He had taken a decision to concern about other country rather than focusing only on its own side. This makes him a great and important leader because he had been concern and not being selfish to his own self. He is a tolerable world leader that consider the advantages and disadvantages before making a decision to make sure that everybody get their own benefits.

         Last but not least, these are the reasons why I choose Barack Obama as the world important leader. He had contributed much to not only his own country, but he had done such a great contributions to the whole world.

I Love My Family

Family is the most important elements that make up the society and community of the humanism. A nuclear family usually consists of parents and children only, while extended family is a larger of family that includes grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles. With the technological era that we are undergoing, is the extended family is less important than it was in the past? I decisively disagree that the norm of our society contemporary have left behind the significance of extended family than it was in the past due to the reasons that they depend on each other because of the high living cost and increase in the human population had limit the available houses which force them to be together.

      First of all, the high living cost that we are experiencing have made the extended family more important than it was in the past. The high living cost and unstable economical condition have made we as a family dependent on each other to ensure our survival and living. This reliable relationship has put the extended family such as grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles to play a significant role compared to the past where the living cost was literally low and we can live without the extended family. With extended family, we can rely on each other to support our living and therefore, strengthen the bonding between the family members.

      Moreover, the increase in human population had limit the available houses and land for us to occupied. This obstruction has force the extended family to play an important role by allowing us to stay in the same house as the extended family. House sharing have given us the opportunity to have a comfortable and convenient living. For instance, no one would want to have a life having to stay under the bridge because there are no houses available. Therefore, extended family is more important nowadays compared to the past where they are a lot of houses and land for us to occupied.

    In a nutshell, extended family plays a significant role more than it was in the past. There are a lot of factors that affect the significance of extended family. Increasing of living cost have and limited houses have brought extended family to a significant point in this technological advancement era

Effect of technology on children's creativity.

     Technology is something that has a lot of benefit. As our world keeps inventing great technological advancement, we can see that there are many wonderful inventions that are created by genius people. Nevertheless, has technology made the children less creative than they were in the past? In my opinion, i feel that technology has trigger up and develop the creativities in the children recently because technology expose children with complex thinking style, stimulate idea of improving and inventing something higher than its current level.

         First of all, we cannot be deny that technology expose the children with a complex thinking style. Technology like smartphones, computers, laptops and tablets are made up of complex system and compartments. In fact, the way to use technology is not simply simple as reading and writing, it requires knowledge about the system or interaction to run the technology. For instance, when a child is playing with a tablet, they need to understand the way of using it like touching the screen or tapping the buttons. With just reading what is displayed on the screen cannot simply make the tablet to function. They need to understand the interaction that requires making the tablet works. So, this will lead the children to be exposed with a complex thinking style that will increase the creativity in their mind.

          Moreover, technology stimulates the notion of improving and inventing something that is higher than its current level. Recently, there are many young inventors in the world that create technologies. When a children is using a technology like smartphones, they will try to improvise it by exploring the system and try to add something that is different and essential to the smartphones. With this, it will trigger up the creativity by trying to think out of box in improving the technology flaws. It is not impossible for the children to invent a new type of technology. For example, when a child uses a phone's camera that does not have flash on the camera, they will enthusiastically find out the flaws and something that can be add to the phone's camera which is the flash that we have today on our smartphones. So, this proves that the technologies can trigger up the creativity in children by inventing and improvising the inventions.

         As a conclusion, technology really gives out benefits to human being. It eases the way of living. It expose human with a complex thinking style and it perpetually make human keeps inventing and improvising the inventions. Thus, technology increase and trigger up the creativity in children more than in the past.

Are there going to be a lot of cars in the future?

Nowadays, we can see that the production of transportation especially cars are increasing from time to time. Nevertheless, will cars be fewer than today in the next twenty years? The amount of cars in the next twenty years ahead will not be fewer that today because there are going to be more unique cars with more functionality in the future, the human populations are increasing day by day, and the price of cars tend to be cheaper in the future as there are many cars productions.

           

Automobile companies are trying their best to create unique cars with lots of great functions. As they invented this cars, people will tend to buy it as it look different and attractive despite the price is high. This will contribute to the increasing numbers of cars in the next twenty years. For example, when people get to know with greater and better technologies, they will probably want to have it for their own to experience a better life. This proves that in the next twenty years, the numbers of cars will not be fewer than what we have today.

           

In addition, the human population in the world is increasing day by day. As the Earth is gaining more and more human each day, it is impossible for the public transport to be available for them to use. People will probably buy cars despite the high price so that they can carry out their living peacefully and happily without having a long queue to go to work or feeling exhausted when they are in the train with a sea of people. For instance, if people who have a busy life use the public transport, they would have to queue in order to be service and this will make them late to carry out their important event. So, this shows that the number of cars i the next twenty years will not be fewer.

           

Furthermore, the prices of the cars in the next twenty years tend to be decrease. It is due to lots of productions of cars from the automobile companies. When the price goes down, more people will have the chance to buy cars that contribute to the increasing number of cars. For instance, when the price of the cars are going down affordable to us, people will definitely going to purchase it as it will ease a person's life. This will result in the increase of the number of cars in the next twenty years

Do We Really Need Money?

Nowadays, human tend to see money as important element in their life. They see money as everything. The question is that, do money literally important in life or it is enough to just earn a comfortable living? Both of the ways of life have their own benefits. In my view, to earn a comfortable living is way much satisfied. It is because, living comfortably can secure your security, balance your time and build a good character to ourselves.

               To have a large amount of money definitely will make you happy. Nevertheless, money cannot secure your life. For example, if someone is having a lot of money, the probability of being robbed is high compared to the people who satisfied with just having a comfortable living. This makes us clear that by earning a comfortable life, the potential of risking your life is low and will make you secure from danger.

             Moreover, by having a comfortable living, someone can balance their time between doing great things with family and carry out their duty at their workplace. For example, someone who wanted to make a large amount of money will definitely do not have enough time to balance between their work time and spending quality moment with family. This is because, for someone who wanted a large amount of money, they need to concentrate more to their workplace or business in order to earn much reward which will increase their money while people who satisfied with a comfortable living will surely have enough time to do a lot of things rather than spending time in their workplace.

            Someone who is satisfied with just earning a comfortable living tend to build good characteristics in themselves. For instance, someone who feels enough to earn a comfortable living will not put greediness in themselves. To put in contrast, someone who chases wealthy and money tend to put greediness as they try to achieve richness in their life. This proves that comfortable living tend to build good characteristics

Could internet be a disastrous weapon?

   With the technological advancement that we experience nowadays, internet has been one of the most needed basic elements in our life. We can explore the virtual world without any limits and access to any kind of information that intent to search. The issue is ,does the internet provides the humanity with a lot of valuable information or it provides information that might create extensive problems?. In my opinion, i decisively fell that internet does actually provides information that creates problem due to the fact that the information that are provide can cause crimes in the real world and  it also can lead to a disunity in the society.

       First of all, the information that the internet provides can cause a massive crime to the real world. Crime is an illegal action that can make someone feel offended or even threaten their lives. With information that are provided by the internet in the social webpage for instance, people can access to your house address and if the person is a thief, it will not be impossible for them to locate your house according to the information that are expose on to them in the internet and carry out their dirty works. In fact, the information that is provided b the internet can also create crime in a context of copyright. There are thousands of illegal cracked software and applications that we can download over the internet freely although it needs your money to get the genuine version. People can easily search for it and download just within a finger snap. This will cause an increase in the crime level of a certain country or even world.

       Furthermore, disunity in the society can occur as a result of the information that the internet provides. In the context of politics, many party devotees will give out a statement or information that tend to make their side as a virtuous ones and eventually making the other side as a 'bad' party. This kind of information is ambiguous in terms of the truthiness. If people believed it blindly without any analysing the information, it will definitely create some kind of demonstration for the people to express their feelings and it will disunite the society. A country with disunited citizens will have a underdeveloped economy where prosperity and happiness cannot be achieve.

       In a nutshell, Internet can give out information that creates problems as well as on the other hand it can provide valuable information. It depends on the user itself of how they control their usage of internet to search for information. As we see there are many problems that are cause by the information that the internet provide, I feel that internet mostly provide information that can create missives problems rather than valuable information due to the increase in crimes level and disunity in our society contemporary.

Are college years the best time in a person's life?

 College is the place where we study and spend most of our time. The Question is that are the college years are the best time in a person's life?. In My opinion, i would agree that the college years are the most best and valuable in a person's life. The reasons are because the college is the place where we knew a lot of friends, we gain new knowledge, and learn how to be independent.

          College is the place that we get to know most of our friends. In college, there are lots of student who have a different background. That is the moment when we get to know new acquaintances. A person often does a happy time and a sweet memories with their friends. They went through thick and thin almost all the time with friends. A friendship bond that exist during college years between a person can last for a million years. That is the best part of the college years in a person's life.

           Next, in college we gain a lot of knowledge and it is the factor that makes the college years the best time in a person's life. College is a centre of education and knowledge. With this knowledge, people can imply it in their daily life to survive. People are tend to be more successful with knowledge and that will ease their living. The moment where you gain a knowledge about something new in the college is the moment that you improve yourself.So,  the college years where you obtain knowledge is the best time in a person's life as it lead to your success.

          In college, typically student will learn how to be independent. For instance, when a student enter a college years, they will carry out every task and make a decision by themselves. They need to pay for college fees, subscribe a meal, searching for houses to rent or living in a dormitories. They need to carry out their responsibility by their own. This will build their identity and this experiences in the college years will be the best time in their life. This experiences cannot be obtain from other places. So, this mean that college years are valuable and best time in a person's life.

         In a nutshell, by knowing lots of friend, gaining  a new knowledge and learn how to be independent, this make college years the best time in a person's life.

How many layers does earth actually have?

      There are many answers on this question and it depends on how fine are you wanted it to be. In fact, the atmosphere itself contains many layers of gases. Nevertheless, to keep this as brief and general as possible, many scientists break it down to generally four different layers.

      The first layer of earth would be the atmosphere. Yes, atmosphere. It seems vague on the outside because we cannot step or even leave on the earth's atmosphere and it contains only gases. But please bare in your mind, if there are no atmosphere, how are we as humans going to live? We all breath in oxygen and it contains mostly on our atmosphere besides all of other gases such as carbon dioxide and so on. We are also being protected by the ultra-violet ray because of our atmosphere. Nowadays, we are hearing a lot of news stating that our atmosphere is getting thinner day by day and i am really sure the impacts of this problems is going to be disastrous. Well, we can easily identify the effect if we compare our current global temperature with the past, the one that is causing the melting of ice in the North pole.

      The next layer of earth would be the crust. Where can we see the earth crust? It is the one that we all exist upon and step on it everyday. There are no humans that has ever been beneath it. The earth is really thin and it is the layer that surround the gooey centre of the earth that would be the next layer. Scientists had found out that this layer is actually floating along the layer beneath it which contains the tectonic plates. This is layer is literally and obviously solid as you can see everyday.

      The mantle would be the layer that contains all of the gooey stuffs. The condition of the earth's mantle is so hot and also under much pressure as it makes the structure thick, syrup fudge and not quite completely solid neither liquid. This gooey layer is keep being churned by the heat coming from the deepest layer of the earth.

     Finally, the deepest layer of the earth would be the core. It is kind of a molten ball fully surrounded by iron elements and it is the one that responsible for producing the magnetic field around our earth. It also spins rapidly and in fact, the temperature on this layer can reach to a point that is comparable to the centre of our solar system, the sun. This layer maintain its temperature by an abundant supply of radioactive elements around it.

JACKIE CHAN FINALLY RECEIVED OSCAR AWARD

   
     Jackie Chan finally received and held his Oscar award on 12 November this year after acting more than 200 movies and being an actor for 56 years. It was presented by his Rush Hour co-star Chris Tucker, Michele Yeoh and Tom Hanks in Los Angeles.

     I personally admired Jackie Chan for his amazing stunts and the fact that he literally did the stunts by himself. He also said that he was really happy receiving the Oscar award after shooting for more than 200 movies and breaking many bones plus he had already reached 62 years old this year and still being active as an actor. He was coveted with the Oscar award since the first time he saw it at the Sylvester Stallone's house 23 years ago.

     Who is Jackie Chan? He was born in Hong Kong and he really proud of his own town as he mentioned during his Oscar speech. For me, he was different from other actors as he had so much humour in his movies and he is an ASIAN. We rarely see an Asian actor succeed in the Hollywood field and this could inspire other Asian actor as well.

WHY I HATE GROUP TASK?

Why I hate doing group task?

I hate doing group task when there are persons that do not want to cooperate to contribute in the working progress. They always think they are the right ones without thinking others feeling and our hardship in completing the task. What they know only asking the progress of the task and this really annoys me.

A Group should be cooperating together when they is task that they need complete. They should together discuss and generate idea in order to make something successful. The members should be rational in terms of the time. What I mean is, you should know when is the right time for you to gather with your group members to work on the task and not only depending on one person to call you plus you already knew that there is no much time left until the due date.

One should take the responsibility to take the extra task if he or she did not attend or take part in the main task on the group. Why? Because they do not do their job. Everyone in the group should alert on their role to complete the task. So, please choose your group members wisely before something bad happen.

Grand Theft Auto 5

Grand Theft Auto 5.

Most people thought that this game was nonsense and stupid. Because you were given a freedom to do all of the things that you want and plus there were cheat codes that made you invincible nearly to everyone.

            For me, this game depicts the real situation of our life. They did not try to keep it secret from anybody because until when were you going to run from your own shadow. Children need to be exposed to all of these stuffs. You had missions but in the same time you were also free to make your own choices. Children need to learn to survive their future. We could determine how they were going to respond with their life choices in the future when they were given a lot of freedom in terms of sex, money and all illegal actions. Steps of precaution could be taken to avoid these children from getting worst.

            Rockstar Company did a really fantastic job. The details in GTA 5 including cars, maps and the effects were really awesome. They tried to make it a real as possible and I hope there were more games like this in the future. 

Last day in Pos Yum

The closure of our valuable moments.

This was the last day and we were busy packing up our stuffs and ready to go back. All of the moment that we had there really touched our heart.

            We planned to explore the forest by the help of Orang Asli that morning but unfortunately it was raining so we had to cancel it by the order of Batin. We did an alteration to our initial plan.

            We went for a walk accompanied by Abang Salem and Abang John Lee. We did explore some of the places such as nearby bridge and also the river. The river was so cold and the water was fresh until you could literally drink it on the spot. Then, on the way back, we had the chance to see the cocoa plantation that was the main attraction at the village. Abang Salim also plucked a few cocoa for us to try and it tasted like a mixed of mango and mangosteen. Abang Salem told us that the cocoa was imported from Sabah and the seeds could reach up to RM10 per kilo.

            Next, we did some closure ceremony with Tok Batin and a few of the villagers. The moment was as sad as we had reached the end of our program. We also distributed lunch for them in that afternoon and proceeded for KKTM.

            I had learned many lessons from the expedition. This is the end of our program but the memories will remain forever and I will always remember Pos Yum.

Second day in Pos Yum

         So let's continue the story about  my second day in Pos Yum.

         We woke up at early that morning to pray for Subuh even though we felt very tired last night. And before I forgot to mention, we slept in our own sleeping bag last night (it was my first time using it). We took our breakfast which only consists of bread with kaya and hope that we will make it until the afternoon. Soon, we gathered our stuffs at the football field near Pos Yum to carry our next activity.

         It was very exciting because we were going to make a sukaneka for the kiddos and adults of Orang Asli. We set up our sumpit board and i was so amazed by the skills of Orang Asli tied up the ropes between the board. It seems so easy for them and i was not for me. Then, we gathered Pos Yum villagers and sort them according to their registration for sukaneka. The kids would play games such as bring ping pong ball using spoon, transfer rubber bands using straw, search for the sweets inside the flour and coloring while the adults would play sumpit. It was so fun since they gave their full commitment to our program plus they were so excited saying 'yes!yes!yes!' as their trademark and symbol of unity. We also learned how to sumpit and i was the one that collected the highest mark :P.

         In the afternoon, we were divided into two groups. I was in the group that was responsible to continue work on  the 'Pos Yum' words on the hillside and some of us were given a task to build a mini library in the surau. It was the day that we get sunburned but at last, we managed to finish the 'Pos Yum' with the help of villagers.

       During the night, we carried out our next activity which was cultural exchange. It was a new thing for us since we had never experienced this before where we were given some sort of hat made up of coconut leaves and it was so unique. We were asked to form a circle and the singer was inside it. After a few rounds, it was time for us to present our performance starting with Zapin and followed by acoustical singing of Pencuri by Mark Adam, Ku rela dibenci by Aiman Tino and Kau Ilhamku which were dedicated special for them. I was shocked when one of the villagers named Man expertly played the electrical guitar and  i was given a chance to join him but unfortunately i did not know much abut barre chord. Lastly, the activity was closed with most of the villagers especially kids enjoying dancing among them.

First Day at Pos Yum

            Hi guys! I am back! But before i tell about my first day in Pos Yum, I would like to begin the story with the starting of the day which all of us PREGORIANS went to Pos Yum.

           We are scheduled to gather at Miss Jo's house at 6:30 in the morning to load all of the stuffs into the Hilux and 4x4 transportation because the condition of the road to Pos Yum was not suitable for a normal car. Then, all of us continued our journey to the rendezvous located at the Bawung mosque which was near to Pos Yum. I was feeling very excited of this expedition.

          Once we arrived at Bawung mosque, we were waited by Cik Yati, the one that cooked for us for the feast of Orang Asli, and 2 Tenaga Nasional Berhad Hilux. We quickly loaded the food into one of the TNB Hilux without noticing that the back-left tire of the Hilux was flat. Nevertheless, luckily there was a villager that wanted to help us carried all the food to Pos Yum by using his transportation and i'm not forget to mention that there was also Ustaz Ismail from Jabatan Agama Negeri Perak that followed us and helped us a lot during the expedition.

          Then we begin to make our way to Pos Yum. At the moment we arrived at there, Tok Batin was the one that greeted us and give us a sort of initial briefing about our accommodation. We were amazed we we saw the traditional shed that was made from leaves, woods and bamboos. We were asked to stay at kindergarten for the girls and surau for the boys. But before that, we distributed the lunch to each houses and the Orang Asli was very friendly toward us especially Abang Salem, the one that gave us a lot help and knowledge about their cultures and tradition.

         After zohor prayed, all of us went to create a massive word that was written 'Pos Yum' on the hillside of Pos yum and we we told that it was made to make it easier for the helicopter to identify Pos Yum to send essentials since they were quite far from town. On the first day, we only able to make it until 'Pos Yu' and we decided to resume it on the next day as there was not enough stones.

       During the night, the rain was heavy and we needed to hold our karaoke event until it stopped. A few minutes after the rain had stopped, we gathered the villagers and since their village was not provided with electricity but only a broken solar panel, we had brought our own generator to power up the bulbs and the sound system. Miss Jo, Syakir and I were the judges for that night. Surprisingly, they had such a good talent of singing and dancing including the kids and i was amazed with them. we gave hampers for the winners and we were so happy because everything was over our expectations even though we were super exhausted that night.
